Founder
Lisa Brodie is a seasoned production leader with two decades of experience managing complex studio operations and workflows in media and entertainment. As founder of RedToast since 2006, she specializes in global studio and show setups, pipeline configuration, and operational management. Lisa has overseen productions and studios with over $200 million CAD in revenue, working closely with financial controllers to manage bidding, budgeting, scheduling, and cost reporting. She’s known for creating efficient workflows, coordinating cross-functional teams, and maintaining clear communication across stakeholders and backers. Starting her career as a 2D animator, Lisa brings a strong creative foundation to her business acumen. She continues to consult on feature films from early story development through final renders, bridging the gap between artistic vision and global production execution. Her experience spans film, TV, virtual production, immersive content (VR/AR) and cloud development. She has held senior roles at DNEG and The Third Floor, overseeing major projects for Netflix, Disney, Marvel, LucasFilm, Warner Bros., Amazon and AWS. Lisa is recognized for her strategic planning, resource management, and mentorship of international teams. Widely respected for her clarity, leadership, and calm in high-pressure environments, Lisa is a trusted partner across development, production, and delivery.
Adela Baborova
Producer
Adela is a skilled senior producer with extensive experience leading VFX and animation productions. She has spent over a decade managing complex projects across feature films, television, and games, guiding teams through all stages of production. Adela excels at studio and pipeline setup, ensuring smooth workflows, clear communication, and on-time delivery. Her leadership covers budgeting, scheduling, crew management, and vendor coordination across global teams and productions. Adela has worked with top studios and industry leaders like DNEG, Unity, Pixomondo, and MPC, handling high-profile projects with major clients worldwide. She’s known for her ability to keep productions on track while fostering positive team environments and solving challenges proactively. Adela’s practical experience is complemented by her entrepreneurial spirit, having owned a production company focused on music videos and promotional content. She combines hands-on production management with deep knowledge of visual effects pipelines to deliver polished results that meet creative and business goals.
Camille Lawrence
Project Manager
Camille Lawrence is a seasoned television producer with a decade of experience creative directing and managing projects across animation, docuseries, reality, and unscripted formats. She has worked with major networks like Netflix, Amazon Prime, CBC, CTV, CRAVE, Disney Jr., and more, bringing strong organizational skills and a collaborative approach to casting, production, and post workflows. Camille has contributed to popular shows like The Amazing Race Canada, MasterChef Canada, Canada’s Ultimate Challenge, and The Umbrella Academy. She’s known for her strong storytelling skills, adept casting, and ability to shape compelling narratives that engage viewers. Her work has earned her a GOLD Telly Award and selections for prestigious incubators and labs focused on unscripted and children’s television production. As a project manager at RedToast, Camille combines creative vision with practical production expertise to deliver high-quality stories on time and budget. She brings curiosity, authenticity, and a passion for storytelling to every project she works on.
Daniel Cilevitz
Systems Architect
Daniel is an automation architect with extensive production experience across 2D/3D TV, VFX pipelines, AI workflows, and mobile games. Known for his problem-solving skills and technical expertise, Daniel is a go-to source of knowledge who keeps teams focused and projects on track. He excels at designing and implementing tools and workflows that boost user productivity and optimize system efficiency. Daniel leads an international developer team at RedToast building cloud integrations, render management tools, and workflow automation systems. Daniel is building multi-agent systems with self-optimizing tool sets that enable intelligent autonomous collaboration within production pipelines. His hands-on TD roles include lighting and rendering for high-profile series, along with transforming production pipelines and creating artist tools to empower creative teams. Daniel has built and maintained production pipelines at studios like Yowza, Tendril, and Guru Studio, delivering custom tooling for Maya, Nuke, Harmony, Unreal Engine, Ftrack, and Flow. With a strong foundation in software development and VFX production, he combines technical depth with a natural aptitude for teaching and team leadership to be a catalyst for efficient collaboration.
Jeff Ranasinghe
Jeff is a seasoned software engineer and visual effects artist with deep expertise in lighting, FX, and cross-department pipeline development. With a strong programming background in Python, C++, and graphics and VFX tools, he skillfully bridges creative artistry and technical innovation. At RedToast, Jeff has developed cross-department VFX pipeline tools for an AI task management platform, facilitated intelligent render job dispatching, and automated asset workflows. He also streamlined artist export and review processes in Houdini and Nuke, enhancing production efficiency across teams. He builds integrated pipelines that accelerate software development across multiple digital content creation platforms. Jeff’s career spans senior roles at top studios such as Image Engine, Digital Domain, Method Studios, and KitBash3D, where he supervised VFX teams and developed automated solutions for shader building, asset conversion, and cloud rendering. Known for his problem-solving skills and clear communication, Jeff is valued for helping teams deliver high-quality visuals efficiently, combining robust technical leadership with hands-on artistry.
Technical Director
Alexander Denny
Alex brings over twenty years' experience in asset management and investment trusts, with a background spanning both public and private markets. He spent the majority of his career at Fidelity International, where he most recently served as Head of Investment Trusts, before joining Pantheon as Managing Director, European Private Wealth. Alex began his career in 2003 in Fidelity's retail platform business and became involved with investment companies in 2011 when he led the development of Fidelity's brokerage platform, introducing investment companies to it for the first time. Alex is a non-executive director of Apax Global Alpha Limited, a board member of The Association of Investment Companies, a trustee of the Nautical Archaeology Society and was recently appointed as a non-executive director of Margetts Fund Management.
